迷途

這個禮拜看到一句很有趣的話。

“If you don’t know where you’re going, any road’ll take you there.”

上網查了一下,發現原來這句話是從小說Alice in Wonderland演變出來的。

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?”
“That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,” said the Cat.
“I don’t much care where—” said Alice.
“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,” said the Cat.
“—so long as I get SOMEWHERE,” Alice added as an explanation.
“Oh, you’re sure to do that,” said the Cat, “if you only walk long enough.”

以前的我會想,對啊,所以我們需要有計劃,然後一直往目標走,不然基本上就是浪費時間!

可是現在的我覺得最後那兩句很有意思。

我們都希望可以到達期待的“終點站”,最起碼希望可以到”somewhere”。可是說真的,到底有誰真的很清楚終點站到底是怎麼樣?真的到了我們就滿足嗎?到了以後又怎麼樣?這就是我們天天在盼望退休那一天而產出的積極態度嗎?

既然還不知道最終會走到哪裡,不如先繼續好好的走吧。

那一條路不是太重要,不是因為我們不重視那一條是好路,而是我們只有為當下走的路負責就好了。
